03.1.3 Describes the structure of a computer/operating system/application, from the point of view of an administrator user and cybersecurity

LR4:

04.1.2 Defines identification, authentication, authorization

04.1.3 Articulates and characterizes the different environments such as IT, OT, IOT, within which cyber security is applied, including physical security of cyber assets

04.1.7 Articulates and characterizes cloud concepts

04.1.8 Articulates and characterizes container and virtualization concepts

04.2.1 Configures and implements identification, authentication, authorization

LR7:

07.1.5 Explains the basics of network and operating system concepts

Omschrijving Inhoud (EN)

This module looks at the hardware of a computer, the operating system (OS) that runs on it as well as IT-related software literacy.

It starts from the perspective of a “power user” to perform various tasks. Such a poweruser has administrator or root privileges on the OS and only controls that PC.

Computer Architectures:
- Introduction to language systems, computer components, bios, troubleshooting, ...
- Different types of computers
- Different computer architectures, paradigms and technologies

OS:
- Introduction to operating systems and virtualization
- Basic management and automation tasks in Windows & Linux
- Using system tasks in the CLI & GUI
